I love doing what I am doing creating these wonderful Treasure Boxes ~ I hope they bring you as much joy as they do to me ~
I have been interested in art and making things since I was small ~ 1 was always drawing or painting with watercolors ~ My Mom's best friend who lived 2 doors away was a High School Art teacher who taught me all about finding what you enjoy and make it your passion ~I learned that from Vanetta at a very young age. Over the years I have tried so many different Art forms ~ I learned about Stained glass in the 80's when my Sons were very young and I loved it I made several pieces but gave it up for fear the boys would get hurt on the glass ~They were so curious about the colorful pieces of glass that I was afraid they might get hurt ~ I did Counted Cross Stitch and then Diamond Painting for a long time and made a lot of large paintings as gifts and ones that are on my walls at home.
About 2 years ago I started watching YouTube videos on making items in resin ~I was so curious about the process and amazed at all the different things that I could make ~ I had no idea what I was doing but I ordered a few molds and some resin off Amazon and just started mixing resin like a Mad Scientist ~ Resin is very sticky and messy and I don't usually like that type thing ~ What I saw as the resin heats up and changes its colors as it cures was pure magic! I absolutely loved doing it and haven't done anything else since I started 2 years ago ~I make my pieces in my kitchen because of the cleanup ~ I took over the kitchen with the whole process ~ One morning my Husband got up early and emptied the spare bedroom of furniture and put a table in there along with all my decorating supplies ~ I got up that morningto find I had a Studio of my own ~ I think he was tired of preparingfood around the clutter and eating in front of the TV because thekitchen table was filled with decorations ~ So he set me up in my ownspace ~ I am very busy here and I'm not in anyone's way ~ I hope you like what you see here in my Treasure Shop ~ I put my heart and soul into these resin items ~ I put new items in my shop every week so check back to see what is new ~ I hope you see something that reminds you of someone special ~ I also take special orders if you see something you'd like but made in a different color ~ It normally takes 2-3 days to make a special order but items you see in my catalogue are all made up and can ship the day you place your order~ You can have it in 2-3 days depending on shipping ~ You also get free shipping on orders over $35 ~ I also have sales and promotions so stop by to check those out
